WinXSecurityCenter

Filed under: Spyware News — Spyware Parasites: Terms and Definitions @ 12:57 pm
WinXSecurityCenter, or WinX Security Center, is a rogue anti-spyware program that performs system scans that shows false positives or exaggerated spyware results. Even though WinXSecurityCenter attempts to look legitimate with its reviews, it is not a program to have on your computer. Do not fall for its trick. WinXSecurityCenter is not a legitimate spyware removal tool, only a waste of time and, most of all, money. WinXSecurityCenter prompts users with multiple warning messages and popups that state WinXSecurityCenter detected spyware on the machine. This is a poor attempt by WinXSecurityCenter to get you to purchase the WinXSecurityCenter program. WinXSecurityCenter program may be difficult to remove manually. Popular rogue anti-spyware programs like WinXSecurityCenter are reskinned and renamed to confuse unsuspecting computer users.
