TheLastDefender (also known as TheLastDefender.com) is a deceitful anti-spyware application. TheLastDefender is promoted by www.thelastdefender.com as "the most advanced tool on the Web, designed specifically for detection and removal of spyware" but, in fact, is just another malicious way to profit from gullible computer users. TheLastDefender may be brought into your computer system by a Trojan via browser security loopholes. TheLastDefender is designed to intimidate computer users by displaying fake error notifications. According to TheLastDefender, these "errors" can only be fixed by the full version of the program, which you are prompted to purchase. TheLastDefender is a fraudulent application and is not able to perform anti-spyware services. Removal of TheLastDefender is strongly recommended.
