SpyGuarder

Filed under: Spyware News — Spyware Parasites: Terms and Definitions @ 11:13 am
SpyGuarder is a rogue cleaner program that uses scare tactics to get you to purchase the full version of the SpyGuarder program. SpyGuarder, or Spy Guarder, may be downloaded and installed through the Zlob Trojan infection which can come from a fake video codec download or MediaAcces Codec installer which is present on porn websites. SpyGuarder, if installed, may prompt you with popups or alert messages that say you have "clean" your computer by removing cookies, user history, browser history and other files. Computer users are urged to avoid downloading or purchasing SpyGuarder no matter how legitimate the program may look. Do not click on any link provided by SpyGuarder. If you do, you'll be redirected to a rogue website to download and purchase the full version of SpyGuarder. SpyGuarder's activities may generate a system slowdown. SpyGuarder may continue to try to recreate itself after reboot.
