OSX.RSPlug.A is a nasty Trojan designed to run on Macintosh OS X. OSX.RSPlug.A has the ability to modify DNS settings and redirect your browser to malicious websites, thus endangering your privacy and security. OSX.RSPlug.A may be found on pornographic websites disguised as a video codec. If you attempt to watch certain videos on such sites, you may be prompted to download a video codec in order to view your selection. After you download the "codec", you will be asked to enter the administrator password and once you do, you will enable OSX.RSPlug.A to roam freely on your computer.
