VirusGuardPlus, also known as Virus Guard Plus, is a rogue anti-spyware program related to VirtualPCGuard. VirusGuardPlus may be installed in your computer through fake popups found on malicious websites. These popups will inform you about supposed spyware infections found in your computer system. Once you click on the "Yes" or "No" buttons to scan your computer, you'll be redirected to VirusGuardPlus's website (VirusGuardPlus.com) where you'll be tricked into thinking your computer is receiving an online system scan. After the scan is finished, VirusGuardPlus may display a list of spyware as a result. You will then be urged to purchase VirusGuardPlus's licensed program to get rid of the imaginary threats. VirusGuardPlus has been created to scare you and make you believe you're infected with spyware, when the only threat in your system is probably VirusGuardPlus itself. If you have innocently downloaded VirusGuardPlus we suggest you get rid of it immediately. VirusGuardPlus will continue to scan your computer and display erroneous scan resuklts unless you remove it. VirusGuardPlus may launch on every Windows startup.
