AntiSpywareApp, also known as Anti Spyware App, is a rogue anti-spyware program usually installed by a Trojan Zlob or Vundo. You may have downloaded and installed AntiSpywareApp from a rogue website thinking it was a legitimate software. In order to promote AntiSpywareApp licensed version, AntiSpywareApp uses unethical mechanisms to make you believe your computer system is flooded with spyware and then offers you the rogue product to remove the supposed spyware infections. AntiSpywareApp is able to generate a fake system scan and scan results, as well as popups and fake system notifications informing you about the fake spyware infections. AntiSpywareApp is NOT able to detect nor remove any spyware found in your computer system. AntiSpywareApp only does this in an attempt to persuade you into buying AntiSpywareApp's full version. AntiSpywareApp may cause system slowdowns and may endanger privacy.

XL Guarder, also known as XLGuarder or XLG Security Center, is a rogue anti-spyware program. You may have downloaded XL Guarder thinking it would solve your spyware issues, or it may have infected your computer with the help of Trojan Zlob or Vundo. Anyways, once you're infected with XL Guarder, it will use aggressive advertising methods to push it's rogue website (xlguarder.com) and sell its product, claiming to be able to clean your computer from spyware. XL Guarder's deceptive methods include: rogue popups, system notification messages and scan reports. XL Guarder will try to convince you that you're infected with a load of spyware, when, in reality, is XLG Security Center the cause of the spyware. XLGuarder is able to emulate a system scan and report a list of supposed infections to scare you and to push you into buying the full XL Guarder version. XLGuarder may launch on every Windows startup.

XLG Security Center claims to be the best spyware removal program and registry fixer, however, all it does is use its sneaky methods to push you into buying a rogue product. XLG Security Center is known to flood your system with fake security messages stating that you're infected with spyware, when, in reality, is XLG Security Center the cause of the spyware. If you are tricked into clicking on one of these messages, you'll probably be redirected to a rogue website to purchase XLG Security Center's licensed version. XLG Security Center may also use its fake system scanner to "scan" your computer and report an enormous amount of threats that it supposedly found.
