AntivirusMaster, Antivirus Master or AV Master, is a rogue anti-spyware program and a clone of a href="http://www.spywareremove.com/removeAntivirus2008.html" title="Remove Antivirus 2008">Antivirus 2008. AntivirusMaster may be installed by a Trojan infection called Zlob. Zlob may display popups and system notifications warning computer users of an infection. This is usually a bogus attempt to get you to purchase the AntivirusMaster program. Once Zlob is installed, it will display fraudulent error messages, stating that your computer is infected with spyware and adware, only to bully you into fixing the problem with the rogue anti-spyware program that is advised by the Trojan. If you download Antivirus Master, it will start a scan that displays false positives on your computer. It is strongly recommended to remove Antivirus Master from your system without any hesitation.
