Webroot Parent Controls is the newest product from the Boulder-based company targeted at making the Internet safer for children. The company announced the product’s release Monday. Webroot will donate a portion of its proceeds from Parental Controls’ sales though April to the Boys & Girls Club of America and outfit the computers of 600 Boys & Girls Clubs in the Southwest with the program, the company announced. The program limits what programs can be used by a child, what web sites can be visited and how much can be spent on the computer, Webroot’s announcement said.
